Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) – Skopje is a symbol of solidarity which, as a lasting value, remains carved in the collective memory of the Macedonian public. Founded in 1964 as a result of numerous donations of artworks to the city of Skopje coming from artists and institutions from all over the world, the mission of the Museum of Contemporary Art is to nourish and disseminate the values of modern and contemporary art defining the living culture and society of our times.

Museum of Macedonia

This national museum has divisions that study and display Macedonia's archaeological, ethnological, historical, and artistic heritage. The museum maintains around 66,000 objects, with displays from archaeology, ethnology, history, and an icon gallery on permanent display. Within the museum complex, in Kurshum li Han, there is a display of stone monuments.

The Archaeological Museum transports visitors through the ages, starting with the Neolithic Age and continuing through the Bronze and Iron Ages, the Classical and Hellenic Periods, and the Roman, Slavic, Byzantine, and Turkish Periods.

Skopje City Museum

The old Railway Station, which was partially destroyed by the earthquake, is where the museum is situated. The adaption took place between 1968 and 1970.

The museum complex includes the Belogaski Gallery and the Open Graphic Studio.

National Gallery

The Gallery's intense activity over the past 60 years clearly demonstrates that it is one of the best national institutions in the artistic field, with a constant tendency to confirm, affirm, and promote the achievements and deserved place of Macedonian fine art within the Balkans and internationally.

The Gallery complex includes Daut Pashin Hamam and Chifte Hamam galleries.
