About the space

The building was constructed in 1947, restored in 1965 (following the earthquake), and designated as cultural heritage around 1970. The apartment was renovated in 2021 and open for Airbnb guests in February 2022. Repurposing existing components, such as brick walls, wooden beams and pillars, and having them cohabit with new materials that were chosen for their beauty in their imperfection helped to retain some of the space's original character.
